American Broadband Acquires Missouri
Cable TV Systems
Charlotte, NC, August 6, 2008: American Broadband ( ABB ) has completed
its purchase of Cable Television systems passing 3,300 households in
Wheatland, Weaubleau, Hermitage, Pittsburg, Galmey, and Humansville, MO from
Newwave Communications.
“We are pleased to serve these great communities and are excited to
bring a local presence and enhanced products to our customers,” said Pat
Eudy, ABB President and CEO. “We believe that local management of these
markets will enhance the customer experience.”
These systems will operate under the name of American Broadband Missouri
which also includes markets in nearby Rich Hill.
