Charlotte, NC, September 1, 2010: American Broadband (“ABB”) has completed its purchase of Cameron Communications and its affiliated operations serving more than 11,000 local exchange customers, 7,000 video customers and 7,400 broadband customers in thirteen communities in Southwest and Central Louisiana and Southeast Texas. “We are proud that the Henning family has entrusted the future of their business to the American Broadband team,” said Pat Eudy, ABB President and CEO. “The Henning family had the foresight to plan, finance and build a network that delivers the highest-quality services to Cameron Communications’ customers. Even more importantly, the Hennings developed a talented, motivated work force committed to excellence and the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. We intend to build on this legacy.” Cameron’s operations will continue to be managed from its headquarters in Sulphur, Louisiana and George Mack will continue as President and General Manager. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. American Broadband and its subsidiaries now serve 37,000 access lines, 18,000 video customers and 19,400 data customers in Nebraska, Missouri, Alaska and Louisiana.
